Bam-B #131

Bam-B began her roller derby career in Plattsburgh, NY, where she played with the Lumber Jills for 3 years before moving and starting her career as a nurse. It wasn't until March of 2016, after seeing RCRD play for the first time, that she realized her grave mistake in giving up roller derby. She joined RCRD shortly after and tries to forget about the time in her life when she went without roller derby.

DERBY DEBUT: 2010

AGE: 28

DERBY JOBS: Assistant Quarry Coach

NON-DERBY JOB: Registered Nurse

LIKES: running, any kind of physical exercise ("I know it's good for me...") coffee, podcasts, binge-watching everything on Netflix, most foods

DISKLIKES: running, any kind of physical exercise ("...but it's still annoying") working night shifts, jamming against the death squad (Jacky Spades, Hater Tot, Star-Spangled Bam-her, and Terminal Trend), waking up in the morning

WHY ROLLER DERBY? "It really pushes me out of my comfort zone. There's always room to improve."

WHAT IS THE MOST OBSCURE FACT YOU KNOW? "It's not so much obscure as it is my favorite fact: a group of crows is called a murder. You can often find Bam-B riding in the passenger seats of cars yelling 'a murder!' as she passes a group of crows, much to the driver's dismay. For the record, this has not caused any motor vehicle accidents."
