Girl power on skates. That's what seduced her. The first time XXX saw roller derby on television, she said, that is what I want to do with my life. This 22-year-old rollergirl joined the sport in Buffalo New York, with the Queen City Roller Girls as a referree and then, skater for the Devil Dollies.
From a roller derby fan perspective, there are a multitude of reasons to watch this girl skate. One being her impeccable timing, and knowing exactly where to be, at what time, for great execution. Another being her application of 14 years of Judo training to her skating, movement and strategy.
Lorelei continues to kick butt with Roc City Roller Derby but doesn't pretend it's the craziest thing she's ever done. She agrees that getting on a stage in front of a full house for a burlesque performance took the cake.
